Many people may not know that technically the Bible is not one book. The Bible is a collection of ancient writings written by many different people over thousands of years.


It is primarily divided into to two sections. The first is the Old Testament which is a collection of 39 different writings covering generally the ancient Israelite nation and its Jewish religion from roughly 4000 bc through 400 bc. This section of the Bible was mainly written in Hebrew and meticulously copied throughout history.


The first section is the Old Testament primarily which is a collection of 39 different writings covering generally 6000 b.c.e. through roughly 400 b.c.e. This section of the Bible was mainly written in Ancient Hebrew. This is primarily the same scriptures that the Jewish religion uses categorized as the Law, Prophets, and Writings.
